I asked the birthday boy what his favorite treat was....HOT Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie with Walnuts. Hmmmmm, so I turned it into a cake. This was a super moist Oatmal cake with walnuts baked in (kids hated the nuts...sorry not your birthday) and then I made a TRUE buttercream frosting and put mini chocolate chips in the center filling. WOW! It tasted like a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich!!!
