There are many factors that determine the cost of a cake. The design, intricacy, and the number of people you need to serve are just a few. Please keep in mind the amount of time it takes to design, bake, assemble and decorate your cake is extremely time consuming...this is all factored into the price of your custom cake.
Here at Simply Sweet we work exclusively with fondant. Fondant is expensive! Most bakeries charge anywhere from $7-$14 per serving for a fondant covered cake. We try our best to stay competitive and offer reasonable prices to our customers but when you want a cake sculpted or 3-Dimensional, it's gonna cost you, because it costs us.
